SCANDIS are different

Scandinavian guests value simplicity, transparency and authentic, well-designed experiences. Whether in nature, culture or city environments.

They book based on trust and clarity, not on complexity or overpromising.

Authentic visuals outperform staged perfection.
Clear messaging converts better than layered storytelling.

In a market with high purchasing power and low price sensitivity, credibility is what drives demand.

Introducing an established Austrian wellness hotel to the Scandinavian market.

For its entry into the Scandinavian market, I translated the hotel’s existing identity into a concept that resonates with Scandinavian aesthetics, expectations and travel behaviour.

The concept “Alpinsk Wellness” creates an authentic connection between the Alps and Scandinavian search behaviour, with an adapted look & feel, visual language and messaging designed specifically for the market.

The strategy is brought to life through a culturally adapted landing page and dedicated domain, building long-term organic visibility for the hotel.

Combined with ongoing digital campaigns, the project builds long-term market presence through a mix of organic search and targeted marketing.

Positioning a Salzburg design hotel for the Scandinavian market.

With its focus on design, sustainability, culture and conscious enjoyment, Hotel & Villa Auersperg naturally connects with Scandinavian values. For the Scandinavian market, I translated these qualities into a dedicated positioning and communication approach while staying true to the hotel’s distinctive identity.

Rather than simply presenting the hotel, I curated a visual experience that reflects its unique atmosphere. Through carefully selected imagery, storytelling and messaging, visitors immediately understand what a stay feels like; from slow mornings and thoughtful design to exploring Salzburg’s cultural highlights. The founder couple’s architectural vision and the hotel’s character become part of the story.

The strategy is brought to life through a culturally adapted landing page and dedicated domain, building long-term organic visibility in the market.

To encourage interaction and build long-term relationships, the project is supported by targeted digital campaigns, helping the hotel grow a qualified Scandinavian audience and create lasting connections beyond a single visit.

Creating one Scandinavian market presence for three distinctive alpine hotels.

The Eder Collection brings together three individual hotels with a shared philosophy of design, alpine lifestyle and Austrian joie de vivre. For the Scandinavian market, I translated this common identity into a positioning and communication approach that connects the Collection while preserving the personality of each hotel.

Rather than presenting each hotel individually, I built the experience around what connects them: thoughtfully curated design, authentic alpine living and a modern interpretation of hospitality. Through carefully crafted storytelling, visual direction and culturally adapted copywriting, Scandinavian visitors are introduced to the Eder Collection as one distinctive lifestyle brand, while still discovering the unique personality of each hotel.

The strategy is brought to life through a culturally adapted landing page integrated into the existing website.

To support the market entry, I developed individual Meta campaigns for every hotel, each with its own creative angle: from adults-only and alpine lifestyle to family adventures. Together, the campaigns create a consistent brand experience while speaking to different audiences and travel motivations, building awareness and inspiring Scandinavian travellers to rediscover Austria through a fresh, contemporary perspective.
